Grassroots community involvement was the genesis of South Brevard Sharing Center (SBSC) and continues to be its heart over 50 years later.  We opened our doors for business in 1971 and today serve over 10,000 neighbors in need annually.  

Built on the common theme of neighbor helping neighbor, SBSC is a lead access point providing housing and life stability resources for those who need help in South Brevard County.  

Our mission is to support, strengthen and empower families to achieve self-sufficiency. Assistance includes food, clothing, household items and financial vouchers for prescriptions, utilities, rent and other miscellaneous items through case-managed services. 

The community has invested heavily in SBSC over the past 50 years, and we have performed and delivered above expectations. Our goal is to build on our success and invest in the future by providing leadership, quality, and integrity for the benefit of our neighbors in need of help.
